Your produce donations - more welcome and appreciated than ever!

Big thanks going out to Jeff S. of the Beresford Community Garden for putting these two beauties in the donation box this afternoon.   They're the first squash of the season (weighing in a combined 6 lbs 2 ozs!) and will make the short journey over to the Food Pharmacy tomorrow morning to be distributed to clients of the Samaritan House clinic. As you can imagine, the need for assistance in these difficult and challenging times continues to grow.  If you've been fortunate enough to have spent the extra stay-at-home time in the garden - I hope you will consider sharing your harvest with the Food Pharmacy.  Your contribution will help families with food insecurity and health conditions mitigated through diet -  get the nutrition they need.  This is even more critical in the current pandemic.
